Hello hello!!! So I was traveling this past weekend to Chicago. I love Chicago and had an amazing time. But Chicago in March isn’t always warm. So planning a travel outfit for the temperamental weather is a tough.
So I was trying to layer up and bring a few coats that I wouldn’t have to pack in my bag. So I wore a pair of basic jeans with a grey vneck. I wore a bomber jacket over a fleece.
In the end I decided to wear my military boots. I did have a debate in my head about this but decided these were best. They have a zipper on the side which makes getting through security easier. Also wearing these means I didn’t have to pack them.
On the way back
On the way back I stuck to the basics. The military boots and skinny jeans. On top of wore a flowy sheer navy top, it was light and easy for flights. Layers are best when flying so I wore my grandpa cardigan. I also wore my fleece just didn’t picture it.

Hello Hello!! Sorry again for the delay, phone was broke for awhile so I couldn’t take any pics or write anything. I did want to blog but I would have done it on my work computer and that seemed like a bad idea. Any ways I want to talk about travel outfits.
Yes this outfit was really comfortable, I cannot tell you how easy it was to travel in this outfit. I want to start out with how great this cargo jacket is to travel in. The amount of pockets this has and how big they were are perfect. I loved that they were the perfect size for my phone and I never worried where it was. This coat is rapidly becoming my favorite because it is so easy.
The workout pants are amazing to travel in, I don’t typically like to travel in them because they do not have pockets but I just got these. They were stylish and comfortable, I got compliments on them all day, a lot of women were interested in where I got them. The mesh details on the pants just made this pants so fun.
Then I finished off the outfit with a very lose top and a lose cardigan, I actually only wore the cardigan because I saw it on my way out and I was like I think that needs to come with me. So I just slipped it on and walked out the door.

Hello Hello!! Finally going on my first vacation of the year and I am pretty pumped about it. I have spent way too much time in the office and need to get out. I have been looking forward to this since I bought the tickets.
A few friends and I are getting together later this week and going to the beach. I am so excited for the beach, I have lofty goals of sitting on the beach and doing nothing for the time I am there. So I have been looking through my closet thinking about what I need to pack.
Packing up my cute summer skirts, fun summery shorts and obviously my casual romper. Also my like 5 swimsuits because you need variety when you are going to go relax on the beach.
I am going to be packing over the next few days and then hopefully will updated you with some vacation beach pictures.

Hello world!! Winter weather has finally arrived and cold weather has set in (at least where I am from it has). So holidays are coming and travel plans have been made, I am currently traveling home for Thanksgiving. Winter travel outfits are all about layering, and takes a bit more strategy.
My strategy is all about wearing my bulkiest clothing on the flight instead of packing them. So usually what I do is go into my closet and get all the clothes I want to bring home and as I start packing I will separate my bulkier clothes. So usually I am always wearing a pair of jeans and then it will be paired with one of my sweaters and obviously a pair of boots (boots are the worst to pack).
So traveling yesterday obviously the staples of my winter traveling- jeans and knee high boots. I wore this with a grey sweater and a white fuzzy vest, both of these would have been really hard to pack. If I didn’t wear the vest I probably would not have brought it home, the bags were pretty full. This vest adds additional warmth, especially on my flights which no matter what season it is I am always cold on my flights.
I love this outfit because it is really comfortable and very functional. This allows me to bring home some additional clothing options without needing to pack them. The vest just makes me so happy because it is so fuzzy and it is like wearing a blanket.
Hello Hello Hello! I mean what else am I going to do when stuck at the airport besides blog about travel clothes? The best tips for travel attire to make packing easier and less stressful are to wear your bulkiest clothes or something that you don’t want to get wrinkled. Beyond that I always want to be comfortable when I travel, you are either going to be stuck in a car driving, a cramped airplane seat or on a train. None of these are the most enjoyable options so might as well wear clothes that are comfortable. Me personally I also want to look put together when traveling, never know who you could meet in an airport. (Although I would never wear high heels traveling that seems like way too much effort for me).
Today I went straight to the airport from work in order to catch my flight so I had balance work appropriate clothing with my desire for comfort. I went for jeans, because they are the bulkiest item I would be traveling with (jean take up way too much space in a suitcase). These are my light jeans that I roll into capris and I have broken them in to the point they are comfortable and stretchy, I’m currently sitting cross legged in an airport chair with no issues. I do wear leggings to travel sometimes but its summer so I don’t need them and they are easy to pack in luggage.
My shirt I am all about that loose shirt that kind of just flows, this is my favorite since it has the amazing shear back. Which in reality also acts as a vent when it is hot in the airport or on the plane or it’s summer and just hot outside. The style and fabric of this shirt is perfect for travel for to reasons. First the fabric is soft and does not show wrinkles as well as it is long in the back so it will cover your butt. I got this shirt from stitch fix and have looked for similar ones I found this and this.
Blazer served a dual purpose, first I didn’t want it to wrinkle in my bag because I needed it for something important. Second purpose is that I did not feel like wearing an undershirt with the top so it served to cover up my back since the shirt had a shear back. I love this professor blazer, its one of my favorites. I got it at H&M years ago but I found this one that appears to be similar.
Shoes- Toms, I always try to travel in these especially when flying because you have to take off them for security. Easily slip them on and then back off.
