Hello hello!! Now I want to put a disclaimer out there, I hate wearing flats. They always tend to hurt my feet and give me blisters. I have only ever found 1 pair that I actually like and could wear. I gave up trying to find flats that worked years ago, I’ve been passing off my Toms as flats or just wearing heels.
Anyways the other day I was looking on Amazon and I found a pair that had rave reviews. I was hesitant, it took me over 2 months to convince myself to buy them. My issues were that they were 1 flats and 2 that they had straps over the ankles. This worries me because I don’t want a strap there to highlight my ankles (which aren’t really that slim). So eventually I convinced myself to buy them.
So I bought them in leopard print, I know bold choice (not really this print can be used as a neutral). I also bought these because the ankle strap is a brown/ nude color which made me feel better about having the ankle strap.
So I wore them to work few days this week and surprise surprise they did not give me blisters. They were actually really comfortable and I felt like I could wear them all day without taking them off. I was super surprised.

Hello Hello!! As of lately I have been looking for heeled sandals, I did buy a pair about a month ago but I kind of never stopped looking and never took them out of my wishlist… So I was setting myself up to failure from the beginning but I cannot say that I am actually upset.
Surprise surprise I did order one more pair of heeled sandals and they are amazing. In the past week since I got them I have been trying to figure out how to wear these every day. To work on business casual day, to work on casual Friday, bumming around and going out.
The ones on the left and in the middle are my new ones, which are amazingly comfortable given that they are high heeled and very strapy. The outfit on the left I wore for a business casual day at work. These are not the typical work shoes and I had hesitations about wearing them. But it was going to be a stressful day and I needed a pick me up. the ones in the middle I wore on casual Friday, it was a little bit busier of a day and these shoes made it all day and I was ready to wear them out at night. The outfit on the right, I wore out bumming with a friend and seeing a movie.
New shoes new shores, I am in love with these shoes. I debated about buying them for a very long time, I saw a woman wearing them out at the bar and had a long talk with her about them. We agreed they were great shoes and looked amazing. I wanted to know how comfy they were, she said they were ok. We disagree on this point because now that I own them I know they are so comfortable. And maybe everyone should take that with a grain of salt because I am very good in heels and can typically wear a good pair all night.
I would recommend these shoes to anyone, they do cost a little bit more then I typically spend on shoes but these went on sale and Amazon sent me a 20% off code. So it was like they were begging me to buy them.

Hello Hello! Sorry for the delay in getting a post up, I am getting ready to go on vacation and then move almost immediately when I get back so I’ve been stressing and procrastinating.
So I tend to make friends with people when I go out to the bar, usually with other women because we will talk about each others outfit and where we shop. For the past few weeks I have been looking for a pair of heeled sandals that I can wear out in the summer. I started off looking for wedges but those have never really been my favorite type of shoe. But I did want them to be comfortable that I could wear them all night. Here we come to the me making friends part, there was this girl at the bar wearing the most amazing shoes. I randomly started talking to her and she told me she bought them at a boutique in town, ahh score.
So obviously I went over to the boutique the next day to see what they had for shoes.
I am in love with this nudish pink color that they are, I could not be happier. The sandals I was looking at online were all designer shoes and were much more expensive. These actually look like some designer sandals I thought about buying which makes me even happier. The heel is only about 2 inches so these are shoes that can be worn all night if you want.
I have just been trying them on with every outfit I wear, I cannot wait to actually wear them out.
Finding these was great, I am so happy to know about these new Boutique. It is called Mesh and you can order online. Although I may go to the store more because they have adorable clothes.

Hello hello!! Yes I had such high hopes that winter was over but this little cool drizzle that has come around reminds me that it never goes away. We had a casual day at work, midweek! Which I usually love because I love my jeans style game but don’t get to wear them as often. This casual day had me going into my closet and coming back with boots and sweaters. Because apparently it’s still boots and sweater season.
This is my favorite sweater, it’s black and goes with everything. Down the back it has a lace up detail that adds a little something unexpected to the sweater. Obviously paired with this great statement necklace to brighten up the outfit. Add in my colored jeans and brown knee high boots to complete the outfit.
I would like to say that this better be the last week I have to pull out my boots and sweaters. While I love boots and sweater season but I would like to put them all away.
Hello hello!! I wanted to name this post how to get away with being the laziest person at the bar and no one noticing, then I remembered guys can just put on pants and no one questions them.
Anyways, this weekend I was having a chill night and somehow I was convinced to go out. I didn’t want to spend a ton of time getting ready, so I went into my closet and looked for clothes that I could wear and it would look like I spent a lot of time getting ready.
This gets much easier in the summer/ spring when clothes are less bulky, but since we were down in the 50s that day I had to make do. So I went for boots, jeans, and a pretty casual top.
The reason this outfit really works and doesn’t look like it was just thrown on is due to the colored jeans, animal printed top and the leather jacket. The colored jeans, I love to have these in my closet to mix in because she you wear them it’s unexpected and people tend to think you put more thought in rather then just throwing on regular jeans. Animal printed tops are great if you don’t own one please buy one, I prefer zebra print. This one is actually a giraffe printed top, I got it years ago and it’s just been a great top that I can throw on. As with the colored jeans most women don’t just throw on an animal printed top, so when you do it comes off as a statement. (And it looks really great with the burgundy jeans). Lastly, the leather jacket it’s just the toping on the outfit. Finishes everything off and looks amazing.
This was my first time wearing the jacket and I could not be happier. This light grey color didn’t really match the grey of the boots which I will put as a slight critique but the jacket is amazing I couldn’t pass up wearing it. It’s the blank NYC jacket, if you want the link I’ll get it but it was expensive. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Hello Hello!! Now I love boots and as of lately I love booties. I didn’t think I would love them as much as I do. I think they are going to be in style for awhile so that is how I validate buying them. This season I have bought a few pairs and I just want to quickly talk about what I like about each and what I wish was changed.
The two on the right are fairly similar in cut and style, they have a block/ stacked heel and the shaft goes up to the same height all around. The large picture on the left (currently my favorite if you couldn’t tell) have a stacked heel and the shaft comes to a V in front.
The two on the right-
- I love- how comfortable they are, their statement focal point (metallic heel and the straps on the back), I can wear socks with them, I like that they aren’t leather so I don’t have to be as careful with them, and their price.
- I dislike- their lack of mobility since the front comes up as high as the sides it really constricts the movement of my ankles. Which I wasn’t expecting when I bought them.
The one on the left
- I love- the V in the front, I feel like it really makes my leg look longer when I wear them, the cutouts along the side are amazing. They are this amazing suede that yes I do need to be more careful with but I feel so fancy when I wear them.
- I dislike- the leather that comes up on the side needs to be broken in, the first few times I wore them they did leave marks on my ankles but after a few wears its much better, I cannot really wear socks with them. And the price, as I said above they are real leather and designer which comes with a price tag.
Here is a quick side by side of me styling the brown ones similarly.
So which one looks better? I personally prefer the ones on the left, as I said before I think the V really elongates my legs which as a short person is great.
The next pair of booties I am thinking about buying are a pair that has a V or open sides, I think they look really cool but I am unsure how they will fit or stay on so I have been hesitating.

Hello Hello!! Well winter came back this week, how unfortunate… The weather went from 70s and sunny last week to 30s and windy and cold. So obviously we are back to boots season (I am not mad about that), I love boots season.
So this Friday since its back to boots season, I go back to my usual debate of what booties should I wear this time? The weather is 20s/30s, its windy and might snow/ rain later in the day. So boots are like the only option I am considering for footwear. (I cannot wear my sorel boots because they are not quite acceptable as office attire).
So, which look better?
Personally I like the ones on the right, the V on the front of them looks better and elongates my leg. These are also my new boots so I love to wear them all the time. The issue is that these are suede, and I did seal them but I don’t want to just wear them out while it is snowing/ raining. That is asking to get my booties ruined. Which was why I was having the debate, part of the problem was I probably should not have tried them on at the same time. The side by side with the same outfit really made me want to wear the new ones.
Then I stepped outside and realized, mans its freezing out there… So that made me rethink wanting to have my ankles out. So I wore these.
I have 2 pairs of knee high boots that are my fall backs in the winter, both are warm and great to wear at any time in the winter. I wore these to keep my calves and legs extra warm. I apparently turn into a baby about the cold once I have 70 degree weather. haha.
So then the question is aren’t these suede as well? Won’t they be ruined as well with the weather? So yes probably they will, I have had these boots for about 5 years now, and I do love them, but I have been on the look out for a very similar boot so I can retire these. Now its not like I am wearing these out in a rain storm, there was just some potential for snow. So I am a little bit more willing to risk it with these boots. (Please feel free to let me know if you know where I can get similar boots, they have a hidden heel).
